64 Weave a Scarf Saturday 28 February 2026 10:00 to 16:30 Tabby and Tweed

Weave your own length of fabric on a pre-warped rigid heddle loom. All material and equipment will be provided although a pair of scissors would be helpful. Participants will weave enough wool yarn to make a cowl, table runner or a scarf which they will be able to take home for washing and finishing. You’ll learn how the loom works and how to create a basic tabby weave, with the option to explore more advanced techniques using pick-up sticks.Gillian Siggers and Emma Baker are the weavers behind TabbyandTweed and together they run weaving workshops teaching others to weave on rigid heddle looms or small frame looms Gillian and Emma also design, develop and make weaving kits.
